Important information for tenants

  • If the tenant does not provide Right to Rent details
  • If the tenant provides incorrect information which affects their ability to rent the property

Prior to the commencement of the tenancy the tenant will be required to pay no more than a five-week rent deposit, held against the property.  This will either be held by Keith Ashton and registered within the Tenancy Deposit Scheme (TDS), which protects the deposit, or will be held by the landlord who is also obligated to register the money with their chosen scheme.
